MEET THE ARTIST
Thanks for taking a peek at my stuff! I'm Brian, a fantasy & folk illustrator hailing from southwest Virginia and currently calling Johnson City, Tennessee home.
Growing up amidst the beauty of dense forests, expansive mountain hollers, and forgotten towns, my heart heart has slowly become intertwined with the natural wonders of the Blue Ridge Mountains & greater Appalachia.
I like to weave together my love of folklore, the cosmos, and wildlife, creating a personal artistic mythology that taps into the ancient, otherworldly, and mysteriously magical vibes of Appalachia.
In the professional realm, I wear quite a few hats – illustrator, printmaker, curator, and gallery owner of HollerHouse on historic State Street in downtown Bristol, VA.
